main parts

1. Motor
The EASYS system is powered by a high quality brushless induction hub motor. This three phase hub motor has a higher torque at lower current that extends the bicycle range to best autonomy. Its double water protections, stainless steel axis, quality bearings and reliable controller are excellent long-life features. The new EASYS controller and sensors are integrated in the motor. Together with the hardware we developed efficient software for outstanding performance and high reliability. The unique Antec PAS-VARIO system for adjustable motor support from 0 to 90% is enjoyed by all cyclists. The EASYS controller is a single multilayer round PCB with one-sided components. A new microprocessor makes the system very efficient and also highly reliable. Every single motor is tested after inserting the controller and downloading the PAS-VARIO software. The ready to use motor does not require special tools or PC’s.

2. Display
The display in the middle of the handlebar provides all important data at a glance.
It has two led bars showing battery condition and motor support as well as a removable multi-function bike computer for speed, trip, time and total distance. The system can only be activated by a unique iButton safety device. This means each bicycle has an electronic and a mechanical lock. Furthermore, an automatic shut-off prevents unwanted discharge of the battery pack.

3. Battery pack
A new light and powerful Lithium Ion battery pack with BMS (Battery Management System) provides the energy. The battery pack can be delivered in a customized bicycle bag or in a small watertight battery bag with customized luggage carrier. This way it is smartly hidden under the saddle and easily removable from the bicycle. Lithium Ion battery packs have the best cycle life and performance while being safe and environmentally friendly. The pack is rechargeable in about 5 hours with the small charger.

4. Support switch
Degree of support can be adjusted by the switch placed near the left grip. No need to take your hands off the grips. The degree of support is visible on the display. The switch is also used to activate and deactivate the electronic system.

5. Sensor
A special sensor is placed on a stainless steel bracket near the chain wheel. The sensor registers both speed and direction. The electronic system uses these signals to calculate the pedaling force and adjusts the motor support accordingly. This is the best way to avoid torque- or optical-sensors with difficult calibration procedures.

6. Cable set with connectors

To complete the set up of EASYS components in a safe and fast way you will get a cable assembly for quality connections. This is very important to ensure many years of reliable use. The choice of first class cables, connectors and water protections is the best guarantee for durability. Cable sets are tested by our QC department like all the other components.
